Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet our representative and drive to Phuentsholing (170 km / approx. 5 hrs). This bustling Indo-Bhutan gateway town offers a mix of cultures and vibrant trade. Check into your hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast, complete the Bhutan immigration formalities and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s tranquil capital (176 km / approx. 6 hrs). En route enjoy the scenic beauty as you ascend to the mountains. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Begin your day with a visit to Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point) with a massive seated Buddha overlooking the valley. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, a symbol of peace and spirituality, and then the Folk Heritage Museum. Post lunch, explore Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, and the Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal. In the evening, visit the magnificent Tashichho Dzong. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, drive to Paro (65 km / approx. 2 hrs). En route, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang, a 13th-century temple accessed by a traditional iron bridge. In Paro, visit Ta Dzong, now the National Museum, housing a fascinating collection of art and relics. Then head to the iconic Rinpung Dzong, an architectural marvel and spiritual landmark. Overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, set out for a hike to the breathtaking Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) – Bhutan’s most famous spiritual site perched on a cliff. The 2-hour hike (one way) is moderately challenging and highly rewarding. Later, visit Drukgyel Dzong, a historic fortress, and the sacred Kyichu Monastery, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. Overnight stay in Paro.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Paro Airport for your return flight, taking back memories of a land where peace, nature, and spirituality converge.
