YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

Meet & greet on arrival at Paro Airport. Drive to Thimphu (2 hrs). Check in to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the town on foot. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Visit the Buddha Dordenma at Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten, and Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon, head to Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, and the Takin Preserve. End with Tashichho Dzong. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3 hrs). Visit Punakha Dzong and take a short hike to Chhimi Lhakhang. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha/Wangdue.

A scenic full-day drive (8 hrs) via Pele-La and Yutong-La Passes. Stop at Chendbji Chorten, Trongsa Dzong, and Yathra Weaving Center in Chumey. Check in to the hotel in Bumthang. Overnight stay at Bumthang.

Visit Jakar Dzong, Lamey Goemba, Jambay Lhakhang, Chakhar Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, and Membar Tsho (Burning Lake). End the day at a local weaving house. Overnight stay at Bumthang.

Take a picturesque drive to Ura Village (3 hrs round trip), visit the new Ura Monastery, and enjoy the village walk. Visit Swiss Farm in the evening. Overnight stay at Bumthang.

After breakfast, drive back to Punakha (8 hrs). Arrive by late afternoon and relax at the hotel. Overnight stay at Punakha/Wangdue.

Drive to Paro (5 hrs). En route, visit Lamperi Royal Botanical Park. In Paro, explore Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong. Overnight stay at Paro.

Hike to the majestic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Visit Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Monastery in the afternoon. Overnight stay at Paro.

Visit Chele-La Pass (2 hrs drive one way). Enjoy the scenic views and return to Paro. Day at leisure for shopping or spa. Overnight stay at Paro.
