YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, you’ll be warmly received and transferred to Shillong (4,900 ft), known as the Scotland of the East. Enroute, stop at the serene Umiam Lake surrounded by lush hills. Check-in at your hotel in Shillong and relax for the day.
Overnight stay: Shillong

After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunjee, famous for being one of the wettest places on Earth. Witness the mighty Nohkalikai Falls, and explore the Mawsmai Caves. On the way back, visit Elephant Falls and enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak.
Overnight stay: Shillong

Post breakfast, drive to Jowai, the cultural heart of the Jaintia Hills. Visit the magical Krang Suri Waterfall, Tryshi Falls, and Thadlaskein Lake (boating available). Explore the Nartiang Monoliths, one of India’s oldest megalithic sites, and the 500-year-old Durga Temple. Return to Shillong by evening.
Overnight stay: Shillong

Early morning, head to Dawki, near the India–Bangladesh border. Admire the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River – ideal for photography and optional boating. Proceed to Mawlynnong, famous as “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Walk the living root bridge, and see the natural Balancing Rock. Return to Shillong by evening.
Note: Carry packed lunch for the day.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
Note: Local Shillong sightseeing (like Don Bosco Museum or Ward’s Lake) is possible if you have an early arrival or late departure.
